Client: A world wide communications equipment manufacturer.

Assignment: Analyze procurement process and procedures to develop an automated purchasing management system that must function in multiple locations, environments and languages.

Overview: This was an especially challenging assignment since their global procurement system had evolved over many years in reaction to specific situations and conditions.

Changes in their product line, manufacturing processes, locations and organizational structure required understanding thousands of pages of procedures and policies in order to find a common pattern to rewrite them and then provide on-line, real time procurement control.

Final product successfully addressed all issues and employed only a few basic principles to guide the new process.
